It was a cold morning in the early hours of Valentines Day 1981. Tragedy struck a nightclub called The Stardust in Artane, Dublin, Ireland. The fire quickly spread throughout the club. Claiming the lives of 48 innocent souls and injuring more than 200 people. Now, some 39 years later, the family of the victims are still fighting for justice. With the Chinese New Year celebrations underway in Dublin, we went to check out the Chinese Collection at The Chester Beatty Library & Museum in Dublin Castle. We saw some amazing artefacts and pieces of Chinese culture that Chester Beatty amassed. There’s plenty to see here and we definitely recommend visiting.
